Historical overview
The beginning
Three friends, Leonidas Karagiannidis, Giorgos Karapanos and Takis Mavrikis, with vision and love for technology decide to create an informatics company.
The birth of Domi
The company is renamed Domi Informatics, its offices are housed in Piraeus and its management is undertaken by Leonidas Karagiannidis. The dental surgeon Apostolos Kerasoglou undertakes the role of scientific partner.
Domi as an ISP
The company develops its own privately owned servers on the Internet, obtains its own IP addresses from InterNIC and becomes one of the first Internet service provider companies in Greece.
Domi Informatics S.A.
The company opens a new chapter in its course up to that point, as it now enters the field of SocietesAnonymes.
The milestone year
In 2001, DOMI, responding to the rapid technological developments and the appearance of the Windows environment, develops the first dental and medical software for Windows.
DentalWin 2007
The dental software DentalWin 2007 breaks the barrier of 1,000 installations, in a particularly competitive environment for the time. At the same time, cloud technology makes its appearance.
New offices - New technologies
The company transfers its headquarters to the area of Chaidari. Its software has already conquered a significant share of the market and continues to evolve. DCloud becomes a reality, with hosting on the company’s privately owned servers.
Dental School of NKUA
The Dental School of NKUA adopts DentalWin in its clinics.
The company changes - Domi Informatics M.IKE
The company evolves and acquires a new form. However, our values, our people and our commitment to our customers remain stable.
Connection with MyData
The connection of DOMI’s software with myDATA is completed, ensuring the automation and correct transmission of documents. Our systems are fully harmonized with the updated tax standards, offering our customers compliance, speed and security in their daily procedures.
